This’ll work

We’ve had this rock polisher sitting in the basement for years. My dad and sister used to polish rocks we found on trips 30+ years ago. I was a little scared to open it since it had been sealed up for a couple decades. Inside we found a few rocks my dad must have started and forgotten about.

The pebbles are coming out mostly cleaned up.

I thought the tumbling action would work well to remove the remaining grout from my pebble tiles. Polishing rocks can take weeks, but surprisingly, cleaning up the pebbles only takes a few hours per batch. Most of them come out with all the grout gone.

The tumbler doesn’t do much for removing the epoxy, though. For that, I am using a knife and individually scraping the backs of each one. I think I have about 6 square feet of them done. I need about 10.
